welcome to the blog

I love unscripted moments that cannot be planned. Those images will be honored by those in the frame as well as those looking at that frame for years to come. May you find those moments and images here.

Welcome to the Love Be blog, a journal about life, travel, weddings, family and love. We are Brittany and Ryane of Love Be Photography located in Birmingham, AL but traveling throughout the Southeast often. Stay a while, take a look around and say hello!

Kirsten and Ryan Wedding

November 6, 2018

She says he is caring, patient, and optimistic and he says she is radiant, kind, and selfless.

Similar to my husband and I’s love story, Ryan and Kirsten knew each other in high school but didn’t truly meet until their first month of college at Auburn University. Kirsten decided to tag along one night with a friend of hers that was meeting up with another group. Ryan was there, and they hit it off immediately.

Kirsten and Ryan got married at Canterbury UMC and celebrated after at Park Crest. Kirsten and Ryan’s family and friends were so giddy and excited to get these two married. It was so fun to see them smiling so much and to the this couple surrounded by so much joy and love.

I have been so excited about this wedding for many reasons. One, I adore Kirsten and I have loved getting to know Ryan. They both make everyone around them feel so loved. The second reason I was excited was they chose to book Love Be for photo and video! We loved documenting their perfect day in both forms and giving them a cohesive collection to remember and relive their day by.

These two love each other so much… duh… but the way Ryan kept sneaking glances at her and their emotional first look was just too. much. They are just the cutest! Joy is all I can think of when I see these two together… I think all their friends and family would agree too 😉 The same pastor that married Kirsten’s older two siblings also married her and Ryan. It was so neat to see that extra special touch through stories told by their pastor during their ceremony. After their ceremony we all celebrated and took the trolly to Park Crest!

The Love Be team has had quite a few weddings at Park Crest this year and we always loved seeing how different each wedding can look in their space! Invision Events and Lisa Bailey created such stunning design for this wedding and I could not stop photographing the beautiful floral arrangements. This was such a fun bridal party and, having known Kirsten from dance growing up, I knew the reception would be a celebration full of awesome dancing. You have to check out the video to see their awesome dance moves, light and glow sticks, and all the fun from this reception!

Kirsten and Ryan, thanks so much for choosing Love Be and making our job so. easy. I’ve loved getting to know you and your families and I know your marriage is already touching those around you. Love you guys!
