welcome to the blog

I love unscripted moments that cannot be planned. Those images will be honored by those in the frame as well as those looking at that frame for years to come. May you find those moments and images here.

Welcome to the Love Be blog, a journal about life, travel, weddings, family and love. We are Brittany and Ryane of Love Be Photography located in Birmingham, AL but traveling throughout the Southeast often. Stay a while, take a look around and say hello!

Danielle and Zach

October 10, 2017

He thinks she is steadfast, adventurous, and lively.  She thinks he is loyal, knowledgeable, and funny.

Danielle and Zach’s wedding at The Cordelle in Nashville, TN was one I won’t forget. Danielle and I became good (and fast) friends in my former career/life as a college admission counselor, and she was actually one of the first people I told about my dream of taking Love Be full time. Danielle would speak casually about her long time boyfriend and the years they had been long distance and I remember being so in awe of their dedication to each other and their relationship despite the miles that separated them. It was such an honor to be able to not only be a part of their wedding day but to be able to document such a sweet celebration, killer couple, and awesome dance party.

Danielle and Zach met in band camp – my favorite kind of people given both my husband and I are former band geeks. A few years later, Zach proposed on the steps of the band building where they met. I loved getting to wedding plan with Danielle when she would fly to Birmingham and hear about what type of wedding she wanted and what her priorities were – tacos. dance party. and all her people in one place.  These two are both so funny and full of life! As you can see in their descriptors above, they are quick to laugh, easy to love, and full of kindness and joy. They are also so intentional about everything they do. Check out the thick stack of quirky notes Danielle had written and collected that she gifted Zach on their wedding day. From birthdays to anniversaries and countdowns, each note served to encourage and document this special time in their lives. There is nothing better than getting to document each little detail of this wedding day and all the meaning behind them.

The amazing Cathrine Taylor assisted me with this wedding and we started the day with the calmest bridal party ever as they lounged in The Cordelle’s amazing bridal suite in the cutest pink palm tree robes. We slow jammed to what I swear was my own Spotify playlist and Cathrine and I truly felt like we were just hanging out with friends way cooler than us ; ) . After a giggle-filled first look, Danielle gave Zach all her letters and they got a quiet moment to themselves opening each one and reflecting back on their relationship up until their wedding day. We had so much fun photographing their bridal party and loved the unique-ness of their bridal party set up. Danielle has a brother and best guy friend that both were her bridal party and Zach’s sister and good friend were in his bridal party. Who says there is only one way to do things?!

Their ceremony was just as intentional, sweet, and joy-filled as the rest of the day and ended with the happiest ‘just married’ walk down the aisle ever! After a fun cocktail hour full of the essentials: punch, popsicles, and lawn games, we all headed inside for a truly stunning dinner and reception. Danielle’s sister’s beautiful hand made table numbers, and Love Social South’s beautiful design and planning together made for one stunning reception dinner. I caught Danielle and Zach looking out a few times at all the candlelit faces they loved so much in one room. It’s pretty safe to say that we all had a fun party full of reunions, awesome dance moves, and sweet serenades – see photos for proof.

Danielle and Zach, thank you so much for including me in your day and entrusting me to document the start of your marriage and life together. Cheers to starting your lives together in the same city, landing dream jobs, and even more adventures together!

He stopped and took out his phone and said, “I’m sorry I have to take one too.” Annndddd Danielle and I died laughing and melted at the same time because it was so genuinely adorable!!

Sometimes you just want to spin in your dress and feel like a princess!

All of Danielle’s study abroad friends from all over the world in the same city!
