While weddings may get most of the focus around here at Love Be Photography, photographing families is really where this whole business began. I have always strongly believed documenting your life shouldn’t stop with I Do. I encourage families all the time to get photos done each year. It’s not just documenting your family it’s documenting your legacy. Iphone photos are great but how many of those images do you have blown up in your home? What is it worth to you to capture each year of your child’s ever changing personality and growth? Think about what type of investment is worth it to have photos for your home, your parents’ home, your child’s rehearsal dinner video, and their senior graduation ad. My husband is a youth pastor and I can’t tell you how many parent’s of high school seniors tell me, “I cannot believe they are about to graduate. Time just went by so fast!” And it’s so true. Time flies. The days with diapers may feel long, but every parent can tell you that the years past quick. So this is me telling you that it matters. Capturing life right now as it is matters, and it is my goal is to make getting those moments captured easy and painless. No sessions with “everyone smile at the camera” instead Love Be hopes to capture real emotions… real life family dynamics and real life relationships. Check out some past Love Be Photography family sessions and what other parents had to say about investing in their family.
“From the baby bump to photos of the whole family, Brittany has captured precious laughter and sweet moments that we will treasure forever. My family feels at ease behind her camera lens. Best of all, Brittany’s grace and speed is perfect for infant and toddler photo sessions!” – Hinnen Family
Yearly photos aren’t just for families with kids! This is a sweet couple that I photographed their wedding and now got to photograph their furry-four-legged baby and little family – furry babies are definitely a big part of my family so I love when clients bring their pups to be a part of the fun!
I think my favorite part of this job is that every family has it’s own unique way of loving each other. Some are silly while others are calm. Some have big personalities and some are sweet and quiet, but each one is so beautiful in its own way!
“The aspect of Love Be Photography that we loved the absolute most was that the group picture of our 4 children captured their personalities perfectly! Each one of our kiddos shined in the group shot and that is hard to do! Also, I love that the shots are so professional and gorgeous- but most importantly not too staged and just real! Brittany really ‘got’ us- and in a quick and easy session.” – Young Family
“Brittany gave me high quality photos, which I knew she would do. But the best part was the grandkids had fun. They ‘played games’ and Brittany got the best candid shots that captured their spirits.”
Boys will be boys and when they want to stage their own photo with them ‘secretly’ making silly faces while mom and dad aren’t looking we just let things happen as they happen. I think that one ended up on the christmas card because the boys were so tickled by the photo!
“My favorite thing about Brittany’s photos are how they captured the true essence of our family. She made the session relaxing and fun for our children. The speed of the final product and the amazing communication Brittany provides made working with her ideal for our busy family.” – Allen Family
“Fifteen minutes in front of the camera turned into a lifetime memory that we will always treasure. Not only did we love the results of our photographs, but the session itself allowed us to take a moment out of our day to bond and appreciate time with one another. It was comfortable, fun, and Brittany captured a sincere moment in time that we have to share with family and friends.” – Dana
Every time I get to see the McClennon family I’m so in awe of how sweet these two ‘big kids’ are with their two little sisters and equally as awed by momma who seems to be able to juggle it all. We did an outdoor session in the fall and then a studio session a few weeks later as well! These are four of the most kind hearted kiddos I’ve ever met.
Photographing your kids as they get older is just as important! They can still be fun and I promise you will treasure even just having all your busy teenagers in one place 🙂
This family is so much fun to capture every year! They are easily two of the funniest parents I know and these boys don’t realize how lucky they are yet but I have a feeling one day they will when they see these photos. Dad is determined to have a photo of him holding the boys each year but mom and I are taking bets on how much longer he can do it before they out grow him 😉
The Grammas family did an outdoor session with their family and then decided to do a PJ mini session with all their cousins together for their grandparents and it was beyond adorable! There was lots of giggles and tickling involved 😉
Rebecca is a dear friend and fellow photographer and it was such an honor capturing her and her family. Rebecca and I talked about how important it is to capture kid’s personalities as they are and not try to force them to be loud or full of giggles if their demeanor is different. Laurel is such a calm and inquisitive kiddo and easily the best two year old I’ve ever photographed. I’m so excited for the Long family to grow by one this fall!
I’ve photographed the Ray family for the last two years and I love capturing these big and full of life personalities.
Shawna and Ben have the most beautiful love and marriage and shine and light so bright that it’s impossible to ignore. They’ve trusted me the last 5 years to document their continued love for each other and every year I look forward to each minute I get to spend with them! It’s truly never long enough!
“I’m always amazed at how Brittany captures who we truly are in every picture. It’s not forced or posed it’s Just US. It is always hard to choose my favorite shot because they are all perfect. She makes us feel comfortable and it shows through her work. I feel like brittany takes time to get to know her clients and she truly gets us and knows what we need and what we like and just makes it happen so effortlessly! Some of my most treasured pictures have come from her, and I’m forever grateful!” -Shawna
This is another family I’ve been able to capture for the last few years and I admire them so much as well. David and his wife Suzanne have a beautiful marriage and love for each other. I love pointing it out to their boys as they make “ewwww” noises and eye rolls when I take photos of mom and dad 😉
“Brittany has done fantastic family photos for us twice. Anybody who can get two adolescent boys to make the most of taking pictures with good smiles deserves five stars.” – Eberhardt family
